Position Concept:

Selecting the technologies used to innovate & develop company products satisfying the company needs while meeting company quality standards in timely manner and in the most economical way by:
  • Planning, organizing, coaching and directing the company technical (Hardware & Software) teams.
  • Providing the required technical support and know-how to all other departments

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform all personnel management responsibilities including:
    • Providing each employee with clear objectives and duties.
    • Planning & offering appropriate training & development to each employee.
    • Monthly tracking of work performance for each individual either direct or via his/her direct boss to determine appropriate compensations and bonus.
    • Maintaining two way communications with the team.
    • Motivating and recognizing top performers.
  • Prepare work plans by:
    • Developing long term plans to innovate and develop company products to meet current and future requirements for customers/prospects and new markets.
    • Developing monthly plans inline with the sales plans and following up their close execution.
  • Provide the required technical consultations & solutions to customers and other internal departments.
  • Contribute in financial control through:
    • Developing the annual department budget.
    • Selecting the most economical procedures in design, development and production techniques.
    • Participating in the process of products pricing.
  • Prepare monthly reports through collecting, analyzing and summarizing information about the engineering department activities identifying the achieved results versus the planned.
  • Develop existing company products and new products by:
    • Researching current industry trends and market activities to establish technical improvements for current products.
    • Reviewing professional publications about new technologies and new ideas in the field.
    • Shifting to new technologies and tools in the design & development of products.
  • Maintain quality deliveries through:
    • Participating in the quality assurance meetings.
    • Providing support and resources for employees to implement quality rules and standards.

Job Specifications:

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering.
  • PMP Certified.
  • At Least 10 years experience in the field of electronics design
  • Master of Science is a plus.

  • Knowledgeable in design techniques of advanced technology systems
  • Continuously updated with latest developments in his field of specialization
  • Proven high managerial skills and good planning abilities
