Hardware Design Manager

Engineering Manger

Position Concept:

Supervise and lead a group of professional designers to innovate & develop the company new products and systems.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the design team to perform their work at the highest performance level.
  • Ensure that each individual clearly understands his role and responsibilities.
  • Assess the performance of the team and report the feedback to the engineering manager.
  • Train, coach and give guidance regarding work related issues.
  • Recommend compensations and incentives to for each team member to the engineering manager based on performance levels.
  • Develop the process and the procedures for all areas of the design activities and supervise the work of the designers.
  • Ensure that the new products for the company are delivered on time and according to the specifications required by the company and inline with quality standards.
  • Ensure that all the developments and updates for existing systems and products improve performance or add new features inline with the agreed upon plans.
  • Provide technical support to other departments or customers through the teams.
  • Conform to quality standards at all times and conduct quality control activities.
  • Maintain & upgrade the engineering library.
  • Maintain a good and clean working environment (computers, testers and tools) at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Job Specifications:

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering.
  • Masters of Science is a plus.
  • PMP Certified.
  • 6 – 8 years of experience in design work and services.
